Born and raised in Lugano Switzerland, Edward started doing dark room photography when he was 14. Since graduating he moved out to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue a career aimed at visual entertainment. Edward's professional carrier started working as a camera assistant for Director of Photography Joe Labisi on music videos with directors Nabil Elderkin, Wayne Isham and Gil Green for pop artists such as, Bruno Mars, Ne-yo, Usher, Black Eyed Peas, P. Diddy, A$AP Rocky and many more. In the area of big budget film-making Edward had the privilege to learn more about filmmaking by interning at Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Disney by also assisting director Jon Turteltaub at Junction Entertainment, primarily doing script analysis. Edward was concurrently head of media department for humanitarian non-profit organization Creative Visions Foundation for the years that he was in LA. After studying at Emerson College in Boston, Edward was mentored for a week by Greg Gorman and learned important skills which led him to begin working with LA with a renowned photo assistant, Eric Larson. Since then he has worked for celebrity photographers Frederick Auerbach and James White. These experiences have diversified Edward's technical vocabulary which led him to working on more ads and editorial covers for Ashley Benson, Hannah Davis and Orlando Bloom to name a few. Edward now is working as an independent photographer and filmmaker lending his photo and video services for commercial and non-commercial projects while concurrently building his artistic portfolio along his many travels.
